# One septillion. *One extraordinary perspective.*

A yottabit is a precise unit of information: one followed by twenty-four zeros, measured in bits. But the point of YottaBit isn't to pretend every technology has reached that scale. It's to give us a way to think about the astonishing growth of computing, data, scientific possibility and the systems that connect them.

*THE QUESTION ISN'T JUST HOW MUCH*

## What becomes possible *when everything connects?*

A computer can help scientists explore materials they could never test one by one. A new material might improve a battery. Cheaper storage may support more flexible electricity. That electricity can help power the next generation of computation. Each link is a possibility that must be tested, but together they show why this era deserves its own language.

The important lesson is not that every trend grows forever. Technology changes in bursts, stalls at physical limits and reaches different people at different speeds. The compelling opportunity is to recognize when an advance in one field changes the economics or capabilities of another.
